Default ES300 Hiding Spots

I'm looking for hiding spots in my ES300 and have yet to find any good ones, except for the ones in the trunk, under the mat. I can make small adjustments as I own the car, but I need a spot that's a decent size. If the spot was 3"x3" or around that size it'd be perfect. I'm not trying to hide anything illegal, I just want to have the spot in case anything needs hiding. Any help is appreciated

Yeah man I could always be more shady. Wait a second while I find a tree.

I'm asking as it's a Lexus forum, and my question holds general merit. This spot could be used to hold money as I live in a city and am scared to have someone break in my car. Why am I considered "shady" because of a simple question I've asked. These days man, these days.

Mine is a 2001, yours is newer so I'm not sure it's the same but maybe.

If you look inside the arm rest storage consul, just behind the cup holders, there should be an almost invisible small square shaped access door that blends in completely with the surrounding felt liner. You should be able to pry it open, and it will give you access to a small hidden storage area. I used it to run some wires through to the inside of that storage consul. I found it by accident, as it's almost invisible.

I have something sort of like that, and I've always wondered what it was. Thanks for the tip! I believe in mine it is more of a rectangle going the length of the arm rest. It's almost the perfect size.

Any other suggestions guys?

If you want the hiding place to be a secret, discussing it on a public forum is probably not the best idea.

I seriously doubt someone will find this post. Although the possibilities may be there, I don't see it being probable. I just wanted to know if anyone had discovered any spots. I'm open to PMs if anyone doesn't want to discuss it here. Thanks for the suggestion!

There are cubbies on each side of the trunk, underneath the carpet. You could try the one on the left, it doesn't have anything in it.
