As some of you know, i just got my transmission replaced. Now every once in a while i hear a single clunk coming from the left front wheel. It doesn't clunk when im driving along, but it does when i turn the wheel suddenly to the right. It also makes the noise if the car is off and i move the steering wheel there is a clunk type noise. Anyone have any ideas? It also happens when backing out of the driveway turning the wheel then accelerating forward. It is a single clunk noise, not multiple. Any help would be appreciated.

I have same exact problem on my 2001 LS430 with 85,000 miles and my mechanic was unable to determine what causes the noise. I would appreciate any help to fix this problem
Was not expecting to find this. If I rember correctly, the noise did go away and if I remember correctly it was something with the brake pads hitting the rotor

Thanks, here’s a link of the noise problem that you had posted
