I ordered new keys on amazon for my 04 es, blade and case only, my old ones are cracked, dealer will not cut them, say it will gum up there machine, they only do Lexus keys and want $95 a piece. I paid $15 for 2, having a hard time finding someone to cut these keys. Anyone else have this problem?

 

It sounds like the local dealer may have had a bad experience or just doesn't want to mess with non-OEM parts, which is typical.

You want to find a local locksmith that can cut the Lexus keys they won't care about non-OEM, should not be too hard. I use this site http://www.findalocksmith.com/ you can find ALOA members, search around your zip code and specify "automotive"

 

thanks , I'll give it try, got lots of time, they sent me the wrong keys, i'll sent these back and start over.
