Power window problem ES300

Driver's side front window will go down but will not go up but a half an inch after pushing button and have to wait to push button again. I have to do this until window goes up completely. Any one have suggestions on what the problem might be?

I am afraid your regulator (the X linkage) is on its way out. It will need to be replaced.

Mine just broke on my 2001, i paid 150 for the part and will pay about 75 for the labor...if the guy calls me back which he better since i already gave him money for the part
