springs?

Question springs?

i have an es2 i changed the shocks 3 months ago and a mechanic told me i did not need to replace the springs so i didnt 3 months later the started hitting if i had a person in the back seat so i changed them again for kyb's the guy at the place i bought them said springs are not supposed to be replaced so i didnt but it hits again are they bad shocks or i do need to replace the springs?

springs and struts go hand in hand when u replace suspension. replacing one but not the other is like putting on new underwear while you haven't wiped your bum clean.

Now, as someone who is looking to replace suspension soon. What are some good springs for a ES2?
Personally, I'd like to drop it 1.8"... but what are some options?
