Clean headlights
I gotta clean my headlights, they look kinda, sorta foggy you know, cars old, ive heard a white/white+mint toothpaste works to , but some people say it will last only for about 2 weeks or so, any suggestions, maybe someone cleaned their headlights?
Get a headlight polishing kit from an auto parts store. They are all pretty much the same and do a great job. The real challenge is making the results last for a long time. If you remove too much of the top layer, the haze will return a lot faster.
Read the box when you buy one and make sure it comes with a sealer.
Don't be a hack with toothpaste.
Just get a true kit, also the car is at least 20yr's old, the bulb life cycle is probably on its way out.... Might wanna look into new replacement bulbs.

I just did my headlights on my sc with 3M restoration kit went from yellowish barely see in the headlight to like new amazing results. I also bought a set of 98 supra headlights from a local performance shop for $300 because they were all scratched up and foggy same thing got another 3M kit took going over twice but the headlights look amazing and was offerd $750 for them after a $20 kit and a couple hours of work. Best kit out there by farrrr.
Despite a sealer provided by the manufacturers of the kit, I'd still highly recommend a proper sealant like OptiCoat 2.0 or AQuartz/CQuartz. You take off a LOT of UV coating when you sand it down
I have read and attempted to restore my headlights on my ES300, and nothing ever works. The yellowing and fogging really appear to be on the INSIDE of the headlamp assembly. I have given up and am considering getting new units.
