I know some of you guys lowered your ES300.... I have a 1998 ES300 and I would like to know what kind of springs you guys are using... and can you post pics of your lowered ES300 also?
What springs would you guys recommend?... and is it ok if I just lower my car without changing shocks?...

Thanks for the replys... i was looking for some springs that will lower the car more... seems like the pics of the lowered ES300 isn't really low enough for me... what company makes lowering springs for the ES300??...
I see FrankWhite lowered his car with some Camry V6 Springs... are they perfect fit in the ES300??...

Another question is that... ppl said Camry stuff can be fitted on the ES300... i found a place that sells Camry Fully Adjustable Race Coilovers... will those fit on the ES300 as well??

Sorry I'm posting without a Lexus (Dad has one if that still counts, ?lol?). I just stopped by to look at some pictures of some nice cars. Anyway, my XLEV6 was lowered for the longest time. I just changed it back to stock. I had an Eibach spring/Tokico strut set up which was a 1.2" drop or so. It wasn't low enough to close the wheel gap and the springs made some metal to metal noise. I think you need to get struts when you lower because the guy who did my install said my stock ones blew when the eibachs were put in. Performance was great, but I do recommend stickier tires. Expect a major decrease in ride quality. Sorry, I don't have access to pictures. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Oh yeah, and I think there is a company called Ground Control or something like that who makes coil-overs. TRD springs claim increased performance "without sacrificing ride quality."

My friend has the Ground Control coilover sleeves ($399) on Tokico struts ($380) on his '99 Solara (same fitment for a Camry). The GC are not "real" ones, and they actually ride pretty rough, with very little travel on the struts. He was going for looks, not as much as performance. He has said that he feels his Tokicos are giving away in support, and it's been only about 1.5 years. There is another company called JIC Magic, which has 2 versions, SF-1 and FLT-A2, with real coilover systems costing between $1500 and $1800.
