Default Grom Audio Kit

Anyone used this kit here before:

http://www.gromaudio.com/store/usb_a...interface.html

I was looking at something with preferably USB connection and Bluetooth capabilities that worked well with the navigation, and this sounded really good but I'm not sure how well it integrates into the car. Was wondering if anyone else used this/ wanted to post a mini review or whether anyone had anything better they used in their cars that they would like to recommend. Audio's a bit limited with just the FM and the 6 CD changer x.x

Thanks,
Yahoo.

I have one...still in the box for my LS430. I can't open it until Santa says so!# However I did have a grom-audio converter in my Avalon. It was a little quirky to launch using the dashboard buttons (odd button-push sequence), but the sound was great. I loved playing MP3s straight from a thumb drive, and the external-jack input worked great. Avalon unit plugged into an open 6-changer socket on the back of the factory radio head unit.

Grom Audio discussion sort of got carried on over here.

My conclusion is, switching from CD changer to Grom adapter was easier on my Toyota because it had an open cd changer socket on the back of the radio. With my 2002 UL, there was no open socket so the Grom adapter gets spliced into the radio wiring harness via splicing harness provided by Grom Audio. This seems to confuse the radio somewhat, requiring a few extra button pushes to complete switching between CD Changer and Grom Adapter functions. End result - it works reliably but I'd hate to try to write out the button-push sequence for a new owner.
