There are several long screws that serve as both mounting screws (for the individual circuit boards, like tach, speedo) and grounds. I 'fixed' my tach when I replaced the missing screw that the PO had left out after messing with the backlights. Refer to the threads here on backlighting/bulbs and needle replacement/mods for pictures and details of how the cluster is disassembled. You might get away with snugging these screws up to get ground back (but don't be too gorilla or they will strip or break the circiut waferboard).

yea ive pulled the cluster apart all screws are there ive just ordered another one so should be here in a week or so. hope it fixes the problem..

and yes they are work vs ss 17x7.5 fronts and 17x.8.5 rears
builds coiming along very slow as ive just been fixing it to actually run, replaced brake pads, driveshaft, alternator, tyres, intake pipe, sparkplugs, etc just need to re register it and start saving for coil overs Fitment FTW...

How'd the es300 do when towing the car? Did it have enough power? How far did you tow the escort?
