I hit someone last week.
my es's hood is bent, and grill is broken. others are ok.
How much do you guys think to fix my car?

I can't imagine Es300 is that solid!

and I want to ask,
where can I parts ( hood , grill ) cheap, so that the body shop will only charge me labor and paint fees

If I bring them a new grill, they quote 1200 if the hood is 300, from eXXy.com
worth it to fix?? My car have 98500miles

sry guys, They took off the hood and grill and bumper already ...
charge me 957 for (upper,lower tie bar, hood, hood lock, + 2 more things, EXCLUDED grill and one signal light). WITHOUT PAINT Job..

I am a poor student.. . just wait till i graduate then i will paint the car ..
sigh..

BTW, where should i buy the grill and the signal light (front left)? EBAY?
i want it cheap.

 

Lol a chinese.... is english your first language? Not trying to be mean but what does that have to do with it? Is it an independent shop or a chain autobody shop? Did you only get one quote or multiple? Anyways it comes off a little ignorant to say a chinese came and quoted me. Next time just leave that part out. A dude/guy/man/gentleman/worker/person or whatever came and quoted me sounds more politically correct.

I need a grill and a signal light..
I saw on ebay that there is a pair of turn corner light (front , both side) only cost $45 made from DOPO... i am wondering if the quality is good enough comparing to some OEM or the stock one.. because 45 a pair does save me some money..

and for the grill.. if i get a new aftermarket.. is it going to be all black?

I didn't know bodyshops sent cars out without paint jobs, i didn't know you had the option haha

 

WHOA there, so you mean they charge almost 1000 dollars but no paint and no grill and corner light.........WOW!

 

^^ next to no one makes aftermarket parts for these - body panel wise. Look on eBay or carpart.com and see how much USED ES parts go for, compared to say a Lexus GS.

Limited cars, no manufacturers, dealer only access = $$
A corner light, will run 120$ ish for an aftermarket piece.

 

Front headlight assemblies don't usually run higher than about 200.00 dollars (including shipping) but usually they are used assemblies.

 

Yup ^^^ 120 - 150 for used corner lights from a body shop is typical. The aftermarkets on ebay sell for around 40. I havent tried them but seem worth the risk. Most state they are as good or better (safety wise) as OEM.

 

Changed radiaton suppor, hood, thats all.. Labor is about 200.
I dnt know...i just want my es back :<
Next step.. Buy grill.. Change fog light. Paint.. Then maybe i will sell it next year
