Question Spark plug question

I went to Autozone and bought a set of NGK iridium spark plugs (BKR6EIX-11) for my 97 and happened to notice a sticker under the hood indicating to use plugs with twin ground electrodes. Is it safe to use these plugs or will there be problems with them?

The plug will work, but it will wear out more quickly due to the waste spark system in your car. They also may not fire correct causing a CEL eventually. Return the plugs and get the correct ones.

It just seems odd that the autoparts stores would even list them if they were not compatible.
