does anyone know how to remove the 97ES300 stereo from the deck? any DIY instruction? Help?

 

search on here there's a thread with pics and all on here

 

pull out top air vents housing ..(air vents and all, grab a firm hold they are clipped in) pull the whole piece out towards you (its all one peice) then under climate control the plastic right above the ash tray ..at the bottom of that plastic peice ,on the underside of it put a very very small screwdriver in the tiny openings and pull towards you... that is held with clips also, one on either side. This will expose the 4 screws. 2 on the top under the air vent houseing and the 2 screws on the bottom under the plastic piece between the ash tray and climate control.....unscrew them (10mm ratchet) and the whole thing comes out climate control also, the radio and climate control ane held together by a bracket that mounts the two of them in the center console.....Hope this helps

 

Shinchan the mods you have listed - is that on a 97 ES300??? If so can you let me know where you got them, the strut tower brace and ECU and basically all that....spead the love????? if you can ..thanks

 

The mod that I have in my sig is for my GS4. The reason that I am asking is that my bro has an ES3.
