As per the title, what are you doing to your cars this year?!

So far i got:

-OEM black pearl emblems waiting to install
-re-do my 'intake'
-remove amber vinyl from lights
-new pass. side headlight [yellowed out ] must find first!
-FULL black interior wrap [getting rid of wood]
-6000k H3 HID fogs - in the mail
-new exhaust tip [same style but newer]
-Chrome 1/4" trim all around, have it awaiting install since last summer!
-Fix my misaligned front bumper
-*maybe new 18" rims [if i can find a deal]
->Double din unit
->subwoofer
--> body work - big maybe as i need a new fender and re-do rh quarter panel due to rust!

Depend on if i have money left over from my trip to Europe this summer lol

I really wanted to lower it, but i want to do these few things first.

-tint windows
- some LEDs in inside and Blue fog lights
- body work (scratch mark on side door)

42$ got them for a steal, so i couldn't say no. Tired of the played out yellow fogs on everyone and their grandmothers' cars...

Thanks, it seems bigger than it is, its just to really take care of a few of those small things on top of a couple of 'larger' purchases and a few are a big maybe at this point considering i'm losing one month while im in Europe and others are money oriented.

Here is what i'm planning to do with my 2es.
--hopefully a drop
--a new set of wheels
--remove the orange strip from the headlight side markers.
--find a set of eyelids
--new brake rotors
--a moonroof deflector
--side markers
--find an amp for my subwoofer

Thats all i got right now. I'm pretty sure if i do some of these i would post up a thread about it. Lol

 

I really can't wait for spring/summer, I've been itching to finally get a chance to work on my car since last summer ended...

-Coilovers
-Projector retrofit
-Possible 1/8 or 1/4 inch chrome trim
-Custom Black Pearl emblems
-Search for 00-01 tail lights
-Search for new fogs (mine are getting yellow), or possibly bake them open and polish
-Fix some minor paint work

 

^ I bought my BP emblems for 15$ shipped on eBay lol

And they aren't fakes like the ones from china, I bought an OEM used set. Talk about a score considering they are stupid expensive.

 

Are yall planning to buy the emblems or paint them yourself ? cause i removed mine and could not figure out what i wanted to do with them lol. i was saddened when i found out that there are placement holes behind the "LEXUS" emblem its self cause i was going to just de badge car other then the plain "L" and black it out ....

 

Just put led license plate lights and in the doors. For the srping im getting the car completely detailed buffed waxed ect for 90 bucks in the coming months since i dont want to do it myself. Get the rust fixed on the quarter panel and trunk to, maybe paint the calipers black, besides that im really happy with where my car is at

 

I bought mine. If you want to paint follow the diy someone on the forum did on their LS - came out dope.

 

Already done a ton.have a 90,000 mile motor in it.blacked front grill,flat blacked L emblems.debadged Lexus and es300 off rear,17" mb drifter wheels(black with chrome lip) all custom LEDs(doors,tag,trunk,vanity mirrors,domes),blue hid headlights,3000k hid fogs,6000k hid brights(so when people bright me they can tell a distinct difference in light color lol ) and 5% black ceramic tint on rear and passenger doors,sunroof,and front strip and 25% same tint front 2 windows,50% over the whole windshield,suede dashliner.... Bout it


Adding this summer
-blacked 2000 tails
-black eyelids
-hopefully someone sells me some projector retrofits
-black suede headliner
And not really sure what else the money pit needs. Car was a wedding gift,and I like individualism.lol

 

Why would you Black Pearl one (de-chrome) then add more chrome? That sounds like it would look off. Are you going to custom Black Pearl the chrome trim as well?

I'm planning on buying another set of OEM chrome emblems if I can't find a good set of black pearl ones and doing it myself.
