I took my 1995 ES300 in to a shop that replaces windshields and asked them if they replaced it with a new one ($260 quote), would they be able to retain the chrome trim around the window and they seemed a bit iffy or just wasn't sure without having the actual glass guy look at it. The manager reassured me "the could probably keep it intact" but I wanted to see if I could get a better response from someone here that may have replaced their windshield. Is it easy to keep that trim?
