Default Debadging 96 ES question

I am going to debadge the lexus and es300 off the back of my 96. My question, are they just glued on, or do they have the rivot holes that some cars have. My 03 corolla was just glue but I dont want to take them off if I am going to have holes in the back of my trunk lid. And, does anyone have a great technique to take them off? I did the old heat gun, fishing line and goo gone on the corolla. My Lexus is black too. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!!

There are holes combined with the usual emblem tape. I waited for a warm day and took fishing line to it
