I have a 2007 Lexus ES350 with navigation, but it does not have the disc with it. Everytime the Navigation is turned on, it asks that I put the disc in so that it can get set up. Where can I buy Navigation discs and what version do you recommend? Is it worth it to pay $200+ for the newest version? Thanks.

 

There are various older versions floating around E-bay & Amazon. Make sure you get one specific for your car.

Sewell Lexus in Dallas has the current version as does your local Lexus dealer.

Whether or not the newest version is worth it depends, I suppose, on how much travelling you do and how much your local area has changed since the last version came out.

Right now my thought is to get a new one every three years or so. That keeps me comfortably up to date with construction & businesses here in Raleigh.

The Lexus map upgrade price is too high no matter how you look at it.

 

I was looking on ebay for a compatible disc. Is there a list of the discs available for a 2007 ES350? Also, does anyone know which navigation version will/will not work with the override trick? Thanks.

 

btw. the new disc. i like one feature. i did not do the override. but atleast. u dont have to acknowledge the safety . I ACCEPT.. it just gives u a warning and then it starts.. what a pain the older disc was.
