Default Replacement Key
Just purchased a 1997 ES300, but only received one key and fob. Closest Lexus dealer is 250miles away. Can Lexus create new keys with the VIN or other number?

Go there, click on sedans>ES300>1997 Then click on keys.

I recommend the non-remote master key for $68. You can live without buttons, considering the extra cost for the fob.

Called the closest dealer, 250miles away, they ahd me fax a copy of registration, ups'd a key today for $45.

Called the closest dealer (250miles), with a c opy of the regiostration, they made a key for $45 and shipped.
