Default painted wheels ....

did it last saturday
due to lack of time and effort only painted 1 layer of flat black
gonna paint several more layers and coat it
its helluva work.....

ok folks it was a hustle to paint them again but finally i have finished the job
i didnt do that much a good job and i just painted over everything but i think it is decent
thanks for all your comments i am 20 years old college kid and the car was my mom's but she grew out of it and gave to me
in the place i live, only old ladies and pops drive ES, and all this and that is because i dont really like the fact im driving a old ppl car
but hey be grateful with what you have right? maybe i cant change the car but i can change the wheels
so i just wanted to try to paint them before i change to other wheels
i used my phone since i lost the camera the actual thing looks much better
hope i didnt disgust you again

Ugly! Great way to ruin a very expensive set of factory wheels and get over-spray all over everything.

I don't really bash on anyone's style but you ruined those wheels black and white combo looks hot when you get rims 18's and above ,but stocks painted. I will never understand that look. Sorry man.... big fail. but if you like it hey who cares what I think.

Default Black Wheels

Agree with others. That now is one ugly ES350. Why on earth would you have painted the rims black is beyond me. But if that's your style/taste and you can live with it, that's fine. Just don't move in next to me.

well unlike IS or GS, ES doesnt look so sporty, and i have seen many people change to bigger rims, but most of the time, they just doesnt look right on this car, thats why i decided to do the stock rims. i did 3 wheels matte black and one glossy black, in fact both colors look good for me i liked matte black because it actually looks much bigger than stock color, it might look dirty and like piece of junk because it looks kinda grey down the sunlight, but its not that bad lol at least i think so. i will try to finish this saturday after all the school work.

Pile of fail. You took a luxury car and turned it into what looks like a neglected car with a set of wheels that have yet to be washed from all the 'brake dust'.

Btw. How the hell did you paint these? You painted over the wheel locks and center cap the look like steelies now, great job!

If you powder coat them in Anthracite it will look much better. I'm considering doing it to my 3GS wheels for my Camry anyway. No paint unless it is the OEM color to match the curb rash to the rest of the wheel...

hm... paint the lugs a different color(metallic blue maybe?)... might help take off the look some? rock it till you find some wheels that match your taste and style. what you're doing has potential to look good. ignore the bashers and focus on what you want.
