Replace head unit 92 ES
I'm planning on purchasing an aftermarket stereo, and I'm thinking about installing it myself. I'm buying it from Sonicelectronix.com, and they include the dash kit and wiring harness. But I have two concerns:
1 - Is it easy to remove the factory head unit? I searched around but couldn't find anything too precise. Would it be safe to assume it would be about as difficult to remove as the 97-01 head units? I see write-ups for that generation, so could I follow them?
2 - Is it easy to run an ipod cord to the glovebox?
Thanks!
Colin

well it isnt too bad to remove the factory unit its not held on real tight and theres almost no screws to it and it is fairly easy i would reccomend just getting a hu with an aux input in it already if not there are kits to put it in. its not too hard to put it in with the proper wiring harness either as long as you are sure its the right one i went down to a store recently and purchased one that wasnt right thanks to the shop owner but with the right one it should only take maybe an hour or so.
