Default ES Pics...

CL Members... I was posting a thread which ultimately led to some pics of my beauties and got a little worked up. Since the pics were really unrelated the post I thought I would post them here. I just got the 06 about eight weeks ago. Those pics were from the Lexus dealership here in San Antonio. The 07 was at my house right after they delivered it to me three years ago... Enjoy and please post your ES photos!!
Keith

PS... Sorry... I had to include my F150. After all, I do live in Texas!!!ES Pics...-es330.jpg

Nice cars.

How are the 07 ES350's? I've been thinking of getting an ES350 or a GS430?
I've already been through a couple of ES300's and an RX330 but hopefully this will be a good year and I can get another vehicle.

Always good to have a truck around.

The 07 is fun. It doesn't wrap around you like the GS will but it is also $10K less. A lot different than the 06. It is night and day. Very sporty and pretty quick. Not as torquey as the GS and of course, FWD.

I'm not really worried about the extra power (would be nice though).
I do like the rear end of the 07+ compared to the few earlier year ES's.
An optional panoramic sun roof is available right? Do you have that feature, just curious on the quality of it.
Thanks for the info.

Nice vehicles. I did not realize some compare the 07 ES to the GS.

I agree on the rear ends... You can get the optional panoramic roof. I thought about it but I wanted the Black Saphire Pearl and my opinion of the panoramic roof is that it lends itself (aesthetically) to the Silver cars. I cannot comment on the quality however in both cars my sunroofs have been as tight as a drum.

I know that I did as well as a good friend of mine who went with a 5 series BMW. For me though the money wasn't worth what I got out of it. I am finding as I get older I look into more functionality for my money and to me both were equally as functional as the other.

One other comment on the 350s... to me you really need to have the dealer swap out for the chrome rims. Otherwise the car just blends in and does not stand out. I like the new chrome strip at the bottom of the door on the '10s.

Not a week goes but where I don't get tons of compliments on the 350. The dark blue and chrome really stand out. I have never had so many compliments on any car I have owned. Not even close.

As far as power and performance, the GS hands down.
I agree with the OP, for me the older I get the slower I drive.
Plus I like shiney wheels and the roads down here are crap.
Having extra money in this economy sounds pretty good to me.
The only thing I won't grow out of is adding shiney and loud things to my car (atleast not yet).

For me I always saved my money on upgrading the wheels from dealership since I always added my own aftermarket wheels (I like shiney...).
Same goes with the upgrades on the radio (I like loud...).
Don't get me wrong the factory wheels are classy and they do have one of the best factory systems I've heard (the old pioneer, to the nakamichi, to the mark levinson).

The panoramic roof and power rear shade caught my eye though. I agree that it would probably look my nicer on the silver color.

Haven't had a good look at the 2010's but will definately check it out.
Hopefully this will be a good year, good enough for a nice upgrade.
Thanks again.
