i just joined and not too familiar wit this so if this been posted before sorry...

but anyways lookin on ebay at the lexus performance chips and am finding they all run bout 30 bucks and all the diff brands are wayyy differant on the specs and performance?? seems like a real low price for something that is goin to increase power and fuel aconomy.. are these things actually legit or do anything?? anybody purchased one of these?? also what else have you guys found to improve performance and power in the 1st gen es300 1mzfe?? cant seem to pull a whole lot of options for this car

Them things are garbage they f*** you're car up and you can get the same thing thats in them at radioshack for a dollar or 2, they just come with a box thats say chip on it. Do not buy it.

thanks for the input buddy... i didnt think they could be too great for 30.00 lol... thanks for saving me the money.. any suggestions on what else i could pick up for a increase of power?? i have a k&n intake but thats it so far... do they make a charger or turbo kit for this engine??

I dont know if they make a kit but you can piece together a turbo set up for anything. The Only thing is you have to upgrade the internals and the ecu, plus you need the turbo and intercooler ect. so it going to be a lot of money, but it can be done. There not to much else you can do to make it faster. They don't make to much performance parts for these cars.
