Default What could cause power loss?

Hey, whats up guys. I just dyno my car yesterday and I want to know what can cause power loss.

I know at the wheel these cars stock should get about 240 HP at the wheels. Now yesterday, I decided to strap up my car and I only ended up with 218 at the wheel. Now, I don't know if the technician did the procedure properly but those numbers seem pretty low in my eyes especially for a GS 400. Now what do you guys think can cause such a power loss? the car drives just fine without any headaches.

After I installed my SRT intake. I only gained about 3 HP. Also remember thats the weather conditions were very hot and very humid. However I don't think that should cause such a power loss. Any opinions?

As far as mods go that's all. And an HKS HI POWER exhaust. The mileage is 153k but I've seen some guys with high mileage get close to their factory numbers.

Altitude is just about sea level here in NYC also. I understand power loss at this mileage, but sheesh.

weak altenator or battery can cause power loss.. just a thought... Sometimes my car feels faster then other times because I know my altenator is on its way out...
