I have a 94 Lexus ES300. I am not looking for any major engine performance mods, however, I do want the engine to last. Does anyone know of any basic maintance and modifications that can be done to that model engine that can increase performance and engine life?

For example:

Specialty spark plugs and wires.
Best fluids and types.
Special engine performance cleaners or fluids.

What to look for on an ageing Lexus engine without having to take it into a dealer?

Basically if I were to take this engine apart, what would be the best thinks to replace to increase performance, life, and easy to take care of?
