Can I replace 1 MZ FE engine with 2MZ FE engine?

Can I replace 1 MZ FE engine with 2MZ FE engine?
I have 1MZ FE engine at 150.000Km it saddly stoppet working. the diagnose shows that is pistons problems so I am think I have to buy an engine. Can somebody tell me which engine is the best between 1MZ FE and 2MZ FE, talking about resistence for hot temperature like Mozambique.

Hi,
I have a 1MZ in my ES300, just ticked past 250k km's. Im in Saudi Arabia, so a pretty hot climate.
With regard to the question of which engine to install, I would go with a replacement 1MZ. I assume there are plenty about where you are?
