Exclamation Well damn...

So I tightened my center caps on my 96' ES300 and its still rattling! I need suggestions bad! Its now nearing the 325,000mi. mark

Are you sure its the centercaps to begin with? I know its a common issue but maybe try to remove the chance that it might not be the caps by taking them off and driving it. It wouldn't hurt to try I guess. If it continues to rattle, I'd probably put foam tape around the edge to keep it from touching the rims

^^^^1, 3M foam tape works great, good luck

nah the caps dont even twist now..they are lockedd in tight so they shouldnt rattle...i dnt think my CV Joints are bad but at 325,000mi anything is possible...could it be struts?

Even if they don't twist, the plastic and metal are still touching each other. No matter how tight they seem to be, any vibration will travel between them unless they are one solid piece. Better to eliminate that factor first by removing the caps before deciding other things could be the issue.

Reason being, I solved my rattle issue by doing that right after it started. Thats when I added foam tape
