Default Finally

After talking about it and looking for so long i finally got an ES300. Its a 97 with 215k miles, bought it for 2100 bucks. was about 2.5 hours from where i picked it up to home and i loved the whole drive its a great car. The radio however the screen is blacked out so i couldnt read anything, the sound system is very very nice couldnt believe it read my burnt cds... the leather is great, seats are comfy and ride is smooth. the gauge cluster is very bright and it seems like it was replaced at one point but it all looks great, minus a few bulbs burnt out on the climate and radio.. but i love my new ES and i thought i would share.. ill post pics soon.

Congrats! Sounds a lot like mine! I bought a '97 last month with 185k for $3000, but it drives like new! I too have a few burnt out bulbs on the climate control and a completely blacked out stereo too, but everything still works! Leather and paint are perfect. Enjoy the ride!

Sweet! Throw in an aftermarket headunit! The install isn't too bad at all, and I promise your speakers will sound a lot cleaner than before!

congratulations on your new car! If you do a search you can find out how to replace the bulbs that are burned out behind your climate control. Its pretty easy I did mine last year.

thanks guys, i just finished detailing it completly and replacing all the burnt out bulbs around the car and polishing her up. she is beautiful.. i buffed the headlights and they look brand new.. i work at lexus so i got some black floor mats and everything is starting to come together.. just need to get a drivers side mirrior because there is a chunk missing on the top, also want to fix the burnt out bulbs on the radio and climate control but cant find the DIY.. i also had one of the techs inspect the car and all that i need replacing is the front sway bar because it snapped and all the brake pads and one caliper.. it helps to work at lexus and know the techs well.
