My 2008 Lexus ES350 got hit in the rear bumper for the first time today. I was driving on the highway in rain and traffic when some lady braked and hit my rear bumper. I don't believe there is any cosmetic damage, my back up camera is working fine, and my two rear sensors seem to be working as well. I don't know If I should bring my car to Lexus to get it inspected because it will cost me $60. I was wondering--if there is no cosmetic damage, and both the back up-camera and sensors work, should I be worried about anything else?

 

I wouldn't be too concerned since there isn't even any comestic damage. Just check and make sure the fitment is correct for the bumper cover.

 

I would bring it in and the have the dealer do an inspection, because if you start having problems later on, it might be too late to make a claim.
