i just bought some hids for my fogs. i want know were would be a good spot to mount the ballast? i did some searching on here , but i couldnt find anything about mounting the ballast. any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance

 

i had my ballasts mounted on the frame rail, the outside part of the frame rail. there should be a flat spot on both frame rails where there is approximately 10"x1' worth of clear area. i had mine on for about a year before i ripped them off, and it was on there pretty good.

how did u mount it to the frame rail? did u have to take out the bumper or something?

 

i mounted mines behind the turn signals i have the slim digital ballasts, ill snap a picture in a bit, they've been there for over a year been through a rough winter, and haven't had any issues

 

I have a 97ES I mounted it here, it is right behind the signal light (I think happy_es3 put it there too)
