First off, Hello Club Lexus!
I'm a long time "lurker" on this site and have got alot of useful/helpful information from here.

I have a '94 ES300 around 150k, no major mods, just major repairs.
...rebuilt tranmission, timing belt, water pump, radiator...and some other issues changed and/or fixed.

Few things...225/35/18, 8000k, DD InDash, Headrests, Infinity Kappas...


My engine mounts are broken, when I accelerate I sometimes feel my car (engine) "jerk" but if my engine is warmed up that really isnt a problem (i dont feel it). My question is, how "bad" is it for my car to drive with the mounts broken? Also what else can get damaged from me driving with the broken mounts?

well that info is on the internet already, so why not find out for yourself like I would and like you should?

secondly, yes it's bad for the motor mounts to be bad. replace all the broken mounts at once.

can hurt the engine/transmission case, hurt the wires, the hoses, and the axles

 

Thanks for the help llcool, I figured it might damage hoses, but had no idea it could damage transmission and axles.
You wouldnt happen to know the rough cost (parts & labor) of having it replaced would you?
Secondly, I wanted opinions from ES300 owners and possibly personal experiences they might have had with dealing with this.

 

Well labor includes removing/at least lifting the engine & tranny out of the engine bay. After the guys should pop in the new mounts, lower motor back. And that is it.

In terms of how long i have no idea. As long as it takes to take out & put back an engine i suppose? I have yet to change my mounts, then again i have an '01.

Mounts should be cheap. They are just mounts after all, the labor, well i do not know the going rate per hour in the US, but here i would count 4-6 hours at ~75$/hr. And about ~30-60$ for mounts depending who as them and where you got them.

And yes, get it done asap. a friend had an issue with his Honda, failed to do it as he did not know his mounts were broken. Did some 'spirited' driving and found out his tranny mount cracked, with a little crack in the tranny itself, leaking fluid etc...
