Default Need Part Behind Steering Wheel

Whats going on family. I decided to replace my steering wheel on my 2005 Lexus ES330 and everything was going fine until I started mingling with the wrong thing near my steering wheel. Some how I managed to untangle the part that is cylinder, black, has the number 5 on it and the word top on it. Do so I am unable to fix this problem and I know I need to find another one quick. Im provided a picture from a previous thread of a steering wheel installation.

If anyone has the name of the part and or possibly one for sale please contact me asap. I need the one that fits a 2005 ES330 version. This version has two connectors to the airbag system.

It's called a spiral cable. Couldn't find anything in the FSM about putting it back together again! Sorry.

Toyota has a master parts database program - can't think of the name right now, but that will tell you what is interchangeable.
Here's a link to the 05 ES330 FSM:

I would call Lexus and get a part number, then check around - even the Toyota equivilent will be cheaper.

I was trying to take apart the airbag to put a new steering wheel on and didnt know exactly what to disconnect and I ended up unscrewing the spiral cable in the process. Bad Choice. Toyota Dealership told me 300.00 and Im checking on ebay now to find some that are compatiable with the lexus. Seems like all of the 2004 -2006 toyota parts are compatiable with is but im not 100& certain. would that part number be on a sticker on the side of the spiral cable if so that part number would be *WFP.B40..1153*

That's not it - call Lexus, explain what it is, and ask for the PN.

I have never had a problem getting a PN from a Lexus dealer - call a different one!
