Default 12 inch kickers

So I just joined the club yesterday and just bought my first car(es300) last month.. I bought some 12"cvr kickers today and have a jbl grand touring amp. I was wondering what my next steps are in hooking them up to my es and was wondering if there is anything to look out for specific in this lexus. I know I need cables and an rca converter if i want to keep the stock headunit but if i go get the subs professionally installed will everything be okay if I just get those 2 things? I'm also wondering how much the cables, the rca converter, and the install will probably cost around. any info regarding putting a sub and amp in my es will help me. Thanks!

If you have time you can DIY and make it as nice as you want. Just run the wires under the carpet and the side panel thing. I'm guessing you should know how to hook up the rca converter.. If not you can PM me and I can help you out on that.

I would consider getting a cap for your amp and consider replacing your battery if its old. Go with something like an optima.
You may need a line level filter.
I wouldn't keep the stock HU because with only treble and bass adjustment on the HU that controls all 5 speakers, 4 doors, and 1 sub, you'll likely blow out your stock speakers quickly. Unless you adjust your amp properly.
If your really want some bump, consider upgrading your alternator as well.
All these would go a long way in building up some Clean sound and Hard hitting bass.

BTW welcome to the club
