Default 2002 ES300 LED Interior lights

Had one of the over head bulbs blow a couple of days ago. Thought I'd try some LED replacements.

Found these replacements online at TUNERDOMES.com - BA9S 3-SMD color hyperwhite. $4.49@

Will probably do the rest of the interior bulbs soon.

Base is a bayonet style direct replacement for the OEM bulb, fits perfectly.

Light is noticeably whiter than the stock bulbs

Both bulbs in place

And at night - timed exposure ( a bit brighter than reality)

Thanks Nigel.

The LED Board looks interesting. Any pictures of an installed unit. If I see things correctly, there is a bulb like connector that fits the cars socket and the LED plugs into this. But is the LED just hanging loose?

yes, there is connector that fits the cars socket and it is plug and play.

The LED BOARD has a PRE TAPE on the back side.

Pictures time.
P.S. It will hurt your eyes if you look at the light directly, and you will be kinda blind for a couple of second. Especially, night time in some dark area.
