Cool

The Magnaflow on my 3VZ did have some deep and desirable tones on it, but even with a resonator the resonance was too high, as was the volume.

I've heard Tanabe used on a six cylinder SC, and it sounded magnificent, but that's a completely different setup engine and drivetrain-wise.

As Choas said, there aren't many of us to speak to that one based on direct experience ('cept for Smitty and rare others). Anything other than direct experience is brand-boasting, etc. and therefore, fairly vapid.

So as not to hijack this thread, sounds like we might need to start another thread to see what's up here with our man, Smitty. Another case of achieving vehicle perfection, only to become bored with nothing to do and moving on? Give us a thread Smitty...

Thumbs up

Here's the new Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust on the SC3.
It's pretty much teh sechs. I'm going with one after finishing the suspension and brakes on my SC300.

I hear alot of good things about the magnaflows on alot of cars and i've personally heard it on a sc300 and sc400. Sounds awesome. But if you want to go a cheaper route, i hear the dynomax super turbo muffler give a nice deep tone. It can be had for about $60 on ebay but keep in mind that it's not stainless steel like the magnaflows
