Default Project Windom.........

I have a white 95 es300 thats in pretty bad shape. after a bought my car i had plans on fixing and restoreing it. well long story short i hit a deer a week after owning it smashing my driver side front fender. also my gas door fell off the same week( talk about bad luck). Since then i have'nt had the time or money to fix it, till now. I'll post before and after photos when im done. If anyone one can help me or help reduce the cost of the project let me know!! Heres the list of upgrades and Repairs:

Driver side front fender
gas door
rear struts and mounts
custom catback exhaust
intake
new or used front head lights
lowering springs
Windom Emblems $45( if you know anything cheaper let me know)
17" inch wheels
new cd changer

Im sure ill add more to the list but my main goal is to have a car that runs and looks good. Anyone parting out cars... holla at me! Thanks

Yeah, these aren't you're typical <$100 projects. Keep us updated on everything and give us prices of what you find and i bet we'll find em for less. Much luck on everything!

Cool

Wow. It sounds like you're pretty capable and surrounded by folks who can really help. It's awesome to see a poor little ES resurrected and treated with some love like they all deserve.

Make sure you take some in-progress pics and some status pics to let us see how she's coming along. Now would be a good time for a "before" pic.

the way u said it before made me think it was really jacked up. u can probably salvage that fender. ur headlight looks okay. as long as there arent any cracks in it id say jus buy some micro mesh and polish the lenses up a bit. go to the junk yard and im sure u can find a gas door, might even be able to steal one off of a camry.

Yo, do the baking yourself and it'll be a learning experience. I did that a few days ago (need to take and post pics still), but I clearcornered the lenses and it looks a lot better now. All you need is an oven, screwdrivers, and 2 friends to help pull it apart

Can't wait for updates man. I'm doing a mini restoration myself. Its slow but tedious. So far I'm changing all the lights to LED, including the brake lights, but I have a friend who can help me custom some LED strips for the brake and parking lights so that helps a lot

OLT made a great guide that I used to help clean my lights. Its pretty much the same steps. It takes time but you'll feel that its worth it in the end

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=183023

To black the lights out, just spray the chrome inside black when you clean your lenses. That would probably be the cleanest method to do with them
