To end all the "will a body kit from another car work on my ES?" The answer is yes. Even a kit for a 89 Honda CRX will fit with enough modifications and enough money. But no kit unless its made for your specific car and year will fit right out of the box. Body kits are very precise molded pieces that replace your existing bumpers and add side skirts specifically designed for your car and your car only. Even the newer style ES although similar in look are different. It won’t work. It has to be made for your car, if not you will need to modify it that’s the bottom line. I hope I could shed some light on this subject. We are all trying to find a solution to the body kit problem.

What about the body kit on page 9 of the picture gallery. Someone should know where that body kit came from.

I've thought about this, and it would be time consuming; but I bet you could make your own body kit. It'd be alot of fiberglass and sanding, you could probably use some light wood as the base for some of the pieces like the side skirts and then fiberglass the rest of it. Some body filler where needed, sand everything nice and smooth, then all you have to do is paint or get it painted. It'd take you a long time, and the sanding would be especially painful, but if you really want a body kit then you'd have one, and it'd be exactly how you want it. Much, much cheaper than buying one too.
