guys I found this the other day and need to know if u guys have an idea to what it could before I take it to the shop.

Other thing you can try and do is to get a sample of it on your fingers. From there you should be able to tell if its oily or watery. Then get it on a white napkin to see what color it is. This will help you narrow it down to what it could possibly be.

well its definitly red so it could be the pump or a hose but I cant tell. So I think im going to wash down that area and get it clean and find out where the leak is coming from

Looks more like power steering leak(s) to me. Could be cam seals or check out the valve cover gasket...

That's a nasty one...seen worse, but that doesn't appear to be a cheapie repair coming up.

its not valve cover gasket I replace that about two years ago, cams seal maybe, but definilty power steering something

clean the area off real good then it will be easier to watch for the leak [perhaps after you add some uv dye to it in one of the leak detector kits which make it even easier]
