I considered those Canucks very briefly during my suspension research (found here ~post 30ish, 2nd Generation (92-96) ES300 Suspension Reference), but passed on them considering the complete lack of any reviews or testimonials. Also, any drop greater than 1.5" is going to require a camber kit; if I remember correctly the Canucks claim a 1.7" drop.
Speaking of a 1.7" drop, you might check out the Girlswin posts in that same thread.

thanks for the info guys^^
im not going to use those i was kinda stupid i was looking for a cheap pair but they are 200 something for a pair of 4 it said 200 EACH but each means a set so i wanted cheaper ones but if its higher drop than 1.5 i need camber kits i understand now do i need to change the struts also? i mean a guy up there said so but is it neccary what happens if i dont?

I think you can do it but I wouldn't recommend it. If you're going to spend all that time to take the strut out to put new springs in, you might as well just put in new struts. Especially if your car is kind of old. It also depends on the roads your driving on.

Your stock struts will blow out quickly with lowering springs doubling your work to replace them and install new ones in a few months.
Do it right the first time and you won't regret it.

im also looking to lower my car and i feel the suspension is too soft to
how much of a drop is this, i think its right where i want to be:

any one had experience with tokico shocks, i have (on my SC300) and i thought they were fairly nice. what about on the ES?
im looking to mod my suspension fairly soon as i hear it squeaking when i go over bumps =( its also 175k old
looks like im torn between KYB and tokico, any comments on these?

Here's an earlier answer to the KYB vs Tokico vs Bilstein question:
None of these are a bad choice.
In (very short)summation, based on the data I've collected:
In (very short)summation, based on the data I've collected:
- Tokico - stiffer, sharper, "more harsh," "more sporty"
- Bilstein - not a lot of data on these for the 2nd generation. Well-established company though.
- KYB GR-2 - "the closest to stock," many reports of ride improvement without harshness, many raves/few rants on this site and others.
mmk so im gonna drop my car BUT i want a smooth ride as stock i dont want a stiffer ride i just want stock ride but i want it lowered
so im gonna have to get
springs
struts
and camber kit if its higher drop than 1.5 correct anything else?
