I just used the scan tool from my school to check my 99 es300 because of the engine check light is on. After around 5mins, the scan tool showed me the code that P0446 EVAP problem. Dose anyone have any ideas about it, and how do I replace the EVAP thingy? How much is it for the EVAP part?

 

from what i have read recently(having same problem) it is 1.) charcoal canister(~$200-$300) or 2.) vsv pn#90910-12264. i just bought mine the other day for $50 at toyota. a lot of people said that it is kinda easy. it is located around the fuel tank on the drivers side. goodluck. i have yet to install mine, but if i do get around to it in time, i will let you know

replaced my canister got it from sewell lexus. you need to loosen the exhaust to get better access to the unit
