Hey guys/gals.

What would you suggest would be the best for dying the leather interior and the pretty much all of the dashboards and doors and pillars??
I was just searching on ebay and found this type of stuff. It's a spray on dye, and it's suppose to colour it and bond within minutes, and not peel or crack...
So if people have previously dyed their interiors, what did you use?? I always thought you'd dip the dashboards and stuff into water with dye, but that's just in my imagination haha.
Is this type of spray on any good for the rear leather seats and all dash etc??

And if people have any pictures of their work on their interior could you add them and tell me how its going so far, and any problems anyone has encountered.

Looks interesting. I've got to see it to believe for myself though. I'm just wondering about the durability of the product. Wear and tear is a big factor. You can change the color easily, but will it last and for how long. Majority of interior paint is easily chipped and quality paints cost an arm and a leg.

 

I would contact Tandy they make leather dye and tooling... ask sombody there about re dying

 

i have yet to redye my interior yet, but am fairly interested in doing this as well. but like someone said, a majority of that stuff does not hold up well. and quality stuff costs an arm and leg.

Try this place - www.leatherique.com - they have everything you need from soup to nuts! I've done a seat in my old Porsche and it came out good. Not only do they have great product but support their stuff. Very highly recommended.

 

So, for black dye application, exactly how much dye would you recommend?? what's 32oz in ml's? I would need enough to cover the front dashboard, steering wheel, rear leather seats, all door panels and the interior pillars.
And on your Porsche, is the interior still looking good??

Rejuvinato Oil and Prestin clean. it's good stuff.. just have to follow the instructions..

 

Oh ok, but I'm talking about the colour dye for the leather etc... planning on going all black.

 

F@^# there is dye for the interior? Man I have been buying all the black interior I can find, wish I would have known this sooner
