Exclamation A4 vs. ES300

wat up, i drive a 96 ES300 and my friend drives a 00 Audi A4. as u kno already i have a V6 with a Secret wepon intake, and dunlop sport maxx tires which r $170 a piece. his car is a A4 1.8 turbo with a K&N cone intake with fairly bald tires. now i raced him b4 with stock bald tires and everything else stock while he had on his intake n it was neck and neck untill he miss shift . hahahha i kno i gave him so much crap. now i am 99% sure that i will win because on how close the first race was n i didnt have n e thing. n when i do win its gonna be sooo good cuz he talks so much **** bout the ES's even though he know hill get beat. let me here ur thoughts about the race n ur reasons on why i or he will win....... ima win one 4 the ES's no doubt! wish me luck 2marro!

You have my compliments.

I actually want to rip the turbo system out of one of those 1.8Ts, they also are found in VWs and ram it into my RX, they are light compression turbos but adequate and safe enough for the 1MZFE (which you also have in your ES though in a slightly different form).

it'll be neck to neck again. but i think the A4 has a upper hand base on it's weight and power. Sorry guys, i have jumped on the Audi ship now... A6 S-Line baby!!!! still love this forum.

Don't forget to take out the spare tire and rear seats. Hell, while you're at it, pay a midget to drive your car.

I love to hear an ES win. Speaking of german makes I just beat a VW rabbit a few days ago (posted in Racing stories forum).

I think you should be able to beat him, cause all hes got is 150hp 155 tq stock. Weight is to his advantage at a little less then 3000lbs, Just take out the spare and extra junk, and the lexo should pull this one out. GOODLUCK!!! Tell us how it goes.

Is his A4 stick? Lose the extra weight and shut him down.

My buddy has a 2002 A4 1.8T manual (newish bodystyle) We have done quite a few races just for fun. My ES300 comes out on top EVERY time. Not by much, maybe a half car to a car if that. My ES300 is completly stock other than a bunch of heavy stereo equipment.

Thinkin' we should've heard something by now. The greater the delay on the results, the less chance of victory, I fear.
