You folks really impress me, I have never been on a forum with so much discipline and courtesy. Even though this is my first post, I feel welcomed and right at home because of the respect shown to others in postings.

I've been lurking and reading for about four days and have not noticed anything close to a forum rule violation. Very little off topic and no politics (thank goodness).

You (we) are very lucky to have such an environment and we should all strive to keep it this way.

We bought a one owner 1997 es300, 160K miles, $6,000, white, beautiful with seemingly not many issues (hopefully). This is our first Lexus and I think we may be in love, it drives and rides like a dream.

I look forward to learning from you folks and maybe be able to contribute some.

Yes, I am new here too and I am highly impressed as well. I am ecstatic to be part of the club! I just bought my Lexus on Saturday. It is a 1995 Lexus E300 with 93k miles. I paid $4200 for it and I am HIGHLY satisfied thus far with my purchase.

Like the gentleman who started this thread, I am looking to learn a lot from this community and maintain my new baby for as long as possible.

welcome! Price seems a little high i paid 7500 for a 99 with 63k on it but if your happy with it thats all that matters.

Nice catch on the 99 with that low mileage. You should sell it to me for that price and find another when you're old enough to drive (grin).
