Assistance Tracking down a problem
hey guys, well long story short, the illumination in the ES doesn't work ('93 Australian model). I've tested the B2 wire behind the cluster and its coming up as being dead, the light control volume switch too is dead so I'm thinking/hopeing it's the rheostat switch that is cooked (cluster lights were dodgy when the car was purchased) Anyways, from what I've seen this switch is inside the dash, but before going and replacing that does anyone know where the illumination wire traces back to on teh ECU so I can test that just so I can be sure it's the rheostat switch which is screwed? From basic troubleshooting I can see the park lights (front & back) are not lighting up either, so I just want to be sure before buying any spares.
that's what i'm looking for. it says to check the guage fuse which was fine (the one under the drivers column) but then again i'm using a US manual. do you know which fuse I'm supposed to be referring to? The user manual said it was a 5w fuse, but no 5w fuses in the system. I hope sure as ***** that it's a fuse.
