Nice looking! I usually don't care too much for a lot of aftermarket stuff, except wheels, but that grill looks very nice.

Man, that is really sweet. I honestly have no complaints with the stock grille, but this is one I might have to run by the Mrs. anyway.

The grill really compliments the lines of the ES. You could even go a step further and delete the Lexus badge.
I better start saving.........it looks like this is going to be a must have item.

Yes, grill looks very good.

"better start saving..."? Its only $197. Comparing to your $45k+ UL, it should be peanuts I'm actually wondering because its so cheap if the quality is OK?

I had the same thought about quality. Actually, in my neck of the woods these polished mesh inserts find their way on everything from Chrysler 300s, Dodge Magnum/Chargers, and countless SUV's. The more I think about this one, the less inclined I am to jump on it. If the stock grille were hideous (like the one on my RX...sorry fellow owners ) that would be different, but for me to consider a swap the replacement would have to be a knockout and not be seen on dozens of other vehicles on the road.

You know the saying, "you get what you pay for"? It looks great, but I can't imagine the quality would be great at that price.

I actually laughed out loud at that one, Twister. Very funny.

Default Pics Touched up

I think these pictures of the grill have been computer enhanced. Take a look at some other pictures on other models. The Audi's front plate is backwards. The pictures don't look real. I would be very careful.

Jaguar was putting mesh grills on their high performance (supercharged) models too. They might have been the 1st to do it. Good catch from several members on rethinking the quality issue, as well as the uniqueness of it.

Come on Twister....you know that was in jest.
Quality concerns are valid. I sent EG Classics an email and requested some additional information about materials and the process used to make the grill.
I will post their reply.

Reply from E&G Classics.
It still sounds interesting to me.
It's not something that you will see on many ES's on the road everyday.
I also asked if a discount was available on a group buy in case anyone is interested.

Hi Lloyd,

The mesh grille we make for the ES 350 is made from mirror polished 304
stainless steel, both frame and wire mesh. The wire mesh is chrome
plated to increase the brilliance. The emblem mounting plate is made from
.040" aluminum, black powder coated. We offer a 3 year / 36,000 mile
limited warranty, contact Jon Titman at 410-381-4900 for additional
warranty details.

I could be interested in a group buy. It is a sharp looking grill.

Does it replacement the current grill or is it a bolt over??
