Default Question about the badges..

I was wondering if it was possible to take off the "LEXUS" and "ES300" badges on my trunk withought damaging it.. If so.. how do you do it?

I pulled mine off with my hands. Did it on a hot sunny day. Then used gasoline to clean off the leftover sticky and rubbing compound to clean up the rest of the area.

If your going to do it, go with the blow dryer. It is the easiest and safest (aside from the adhesive remover which would cost money and negate this easy do it yourself mod)

Blow dryer, fishing line, 3-M Adhesive remover as well as a shop rag. Just be careful and don't let one of the trailing edges mark the finish. I've probably removed 100 badges and only once put a slight mark in the finish of a black Tahoe. Often it is possible to slip a cloth or even thin heavy paper or masking tape under the edge away from where you are pulling.
