Looks very clean. I've been looking forward to seeing this install. Now all you have to do is stick on some wood grain.

Looks good!! Is the box secured permanently under the seat or is that temporary? How well does it hold up to jolts from potholes and such?

Very cool! Any problems yet with your harddrive mounted flat like that?

Do you have a lot of glare from the driver seat? I want to get the transreflective screen but pricing is still too high...

First where did you get that (double-din?) stereo kit for the liliput? Second, how many watts is that powersupply and what brand and model is it? And does it include a start/shutdown controller?

I have four pieces of Velcro holding the case to the carpet. It really aint going nowhere. So far i havent had a skip or anything from potholes and jolts even though my car rides pretty rough on 45 series tires in nyc.

No problems with the harddrive mounted flat. I did alot of research on this issue and nobody seems to have any direct evidence proving hard drive failure is due to horizontal or vertical mount.

There's alot of glare in the daytime with the sunlight but that's to be expected with every non-transflective screen. Right now even if u have money, you still cant get a transflective due to the high demand. Viewing angle is perfect from the driver's seat although i prefer the screen to sit higher when its in GPS mode so i dont have to look down as much.

I got the dash kit from here
it's made for aftermarket radio but i just dremmeled it out and custom fitted the LCD screen in there. I used this adhesive call Automotive Goop to attach it. At first i wanted to mold it but decided against it cuz if not done right it looks disgusting.

i have a M2 ATX 160 watts power supply and yes it has a startup/shutdown controller. There's alot of people having problems with this power supply on MP3CAR but it's working just fine for me.
