I have had my 350 for about two months now and dropped my fair share of coins in it already. I am sure almost everyone else has done the same.
I was not too thrilled when I had trouble finding them between the seat and the door crevices etc.

Today though I had a different coin experience that had me worried for a minute. I dropped a coin into the gear shift box. The box does have a cover but the coin is quite tricky to retrieve from there. One false move and it is gone. Into transmission heaven.

I kept one finger on the coin while I fiddled to retrieve a set of keys so I could lift the coin out. Phew, close call. Watch out!

 

That coin just might tone down the transmission flare. Maybe it's coin operated......
