ES350 replacement has arrived!
As some of you may remember I exchanged my problematic ES for a special order 07 IS350. I finally picked it up today.
It is Smoky Grey Mica with sterling and black interior...no Nav or ML but all other bells and whistles. It is very early days yet, but I am much more comfortable with it than with the ES as my last car before the ES was a MR2 Turbo. I found the ES too large, too soft and the seats not snug enough. It was also unresponsive to immediate throttle demands. In spite of all this I think I would have kept the ES if it did not have all the problems with which we are all so familiar. The IS is very powerful/fast and handles beautifully. I hope I will be very happy with it for a long time. While I will now spend more time on the IS forum I will continue to visit this one. Hope you all get satisfactory remedies to all the ES problems. Regards.
