Default Electrical Issues

I've had my ES for less than 6 months and I already want to drive it off a cliff. I've posted a thread before about a sound that comes from the left side of the dash near the steering wheel which someone accurately described as "flipping through a deck of cards." The same sound gets progressively worse with more things turned on. If the wipers are on and if the brakes are on, the sound is louder. If the A/C is on, its twice a loud with the wipers and stereo. The car has a bew battery and (I think) a new alternator. My guess is that the "flipping" sound is coming from the fuses switching on and off at a rapid pace-as if they dont have enough power going to them.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions Id appreciate it. Thanks.

when it comes to electrical issues like that I'd say take it to the dealer and pay the BIG bucks but atleast let them take care of it...

I've seen more 1st gen ES300's in the junkyard cause of electrical fires than actually crashed es300's....

Cool

WTF I've seen two ES 300's in a junkyard all-time period.
Lay off the crack man. If ES 300's caught on fire for electrical issues, you'd have seen them, and millions of Camry's also caught on fire too.

I dont want to be raped by the Lexus dealer. I already got raped by the assclown who sold me the lemon. 2nd day I had it, it took a $1700 **** and I replaced half the engine.

From what I understand, electrical problems are a common thing in ES300s, so there must be someone on here who knows something about the problems... Anyone?

I'm goin to the wreckers again tomorrow and If I remember I'll take my camera to show you the burnt to crisp ES300's. For some reason it doesn't affect the Camry's....
