Default Smashed window :(

so i was with my gf and we stopped at about midnight at a meijer (midwest based walmart type store) to get some mike and ike's. we go in, come out and my passenger window is smashed in. apparently someone saw a guy with a pipe in a white jeep with a gander mountain sticker on it. they were parked right next to me the guy and a woman when we parked. i filed a police report and will get the video footage from the parking lot tmr. so that's that.

how much would it cost to have a window replaced? is my insurance going to cover that? and why does glass have to be so messy? it's everywhere in the car. good thing they didn't steal anything cuz i just got a sub/amp combo put in the trunk.

Sorry to hear the bad news bro. My ES was broken into last December and they smashed the passenger and driver's side front windows. I was cleaning glass for a while. My insurance covered everthing but I know it cost right at $900 to replace both windows and labor. So it will probably be about $300-$400 I hope u found out who did it bro.

I was advised by an auto glass company to let a Lexus agency do this repair, since they always had problems when using aftermarket glass. I did have complete glass coverage on my insurance policy.......so I called them first to make sure that they covered this repair to be done by Lexus.....they did, and the repair was top notch. This was on a '94 ES300.
