Default ES350 availability?

Hows the availability for the new ES, the release for the IS was pretty abysmal with 3-4 month waits, sounds like a lot of people are getting their ES fairly quickly

As far as I have heard and seen, the new ES is only sticking around lots for about 3-5 days here in SoCal. But oddly enough, I haven't seen a lot of them on the road (yet).

I know at the Virginia Beach dealership they have very few in their first few allotments that are not already sold! And if not, they are gone within days and even hours. That is why they will NOT budge off sticker unless you are a previous customer. Then you get $500 off.

Hard to believe really. But then again....I've only put 75 miles on mine.....and I'm damn glad I took the plung!

I agree. Ultra's seem to be a little hard to find down here. Plenty of Premium and Nav cars though.

If I didn't have an Ultra on order here in the Central Region, I would have to wait 6 - 8 weeks for one. They are indeed rare at the moment.

I saw my first one on the road (besides mine). I saw it yesterday. It went right by my home (I live in the San Fernando Valley of LA). Anyway, it had plates on it from my dealer, so I think it is a loaner car. I was just surprised to see it because I'm 7 miles from my dealer.

Default There must be a lot of them available because....

My dealer called me today and said that they'd love me to trade my 2002 ES 300 in. They need the cars and with my low mileage, I could get a great price on the brand new ES 350. I said, "No thanks, I kept my ES 300 and bought a ES 350 from you on the day they came out, April 25th" I don't need another one. She felt kind of embarrassed.

Plenty of 350's on the lots down here in TX, but none with the UL package. Well, to be perfectly correct, I saw one, which was a specific order for a buyer who changed his/her mind once he/she saw the color (white) in person. I special ordered one in silver - my first Lexus - with the UL package and my wait time was given as 4 to 12 weeks.

The ES is Lexus' volume-seller so there should be plenty of them on the lots.

Default Ultra Lux packages are Da kine and get driven...

right out of the showroom within hours of display leaving a blank space where a car used to be. The Nav cars sell quickly too. The Premium package demos are all that's left really.....Saturdays are a zoo but that's a good thing....

I was thinking the same thing. The RX is Lexus's other high volume-seller which I'm sure they have plenty in stock.

The new 2007 ES 350 looks great. Hopefully new people who never considered a Lexus will think again when they see the new ES...

i remember some post where they sacrificed some of the IS production to avoid supply problems the IS had for the ES launch

My dealer in the New York City area told me that only 10% of their ES350 deliveries were UL equipped. I don't know whether this holds true for all parts of the USA and Canada.
